Prayer Request for March 30, Matt Johnson

This request comes from a friend, Matt Johnson is going through some tough times. Below is his prayer request:

"I would like prayer in many parts of my life, but one in particular is honoring my wife the way I should. I've found myself talking and sending things to girls I meet that shouldn't be said or sent. I view this as my disease as it keeps coming back to me and I find it easy to do. Now I won't physically do things with the girls I talk to, but the words and things that are sent are just as bad as doing physical things. I came to Tim because I view him as a friend, leader, and confidant that he will help me acknowledge the things that I am doing and help me find my way back to where I was with God, myself, and my wife. I told him that I wanted my name on here that way if you know me to call me or text me and tell me that you are praying for me. For I have also shut people out in doing all this. I need and want God and my church family back in my life without worry of what I might do, that when I see myself doing something that I'll call one of you to help me out. Thank you and God Bless everyone of you.

P.S. And obviously I need help in honoring and respecting myself as well as it all ties up in marriage."

The original Prayer Wall

The Wailing or Western Wall is the last remaining bit of the original temple Jesus knew. For hundreds of years people have prayed there. Sometimes writing their prayers on paper, wedged between the bricks. This is our wall.

Prayer Requests March 25th

Please pray for Ben Reinhardt and his family. His mother passed away this morning. All of the children were able to be with her except Bill who is over in Iraq, Their Dad was even able to come to town to support the children. Thank you.

Leona Daves (only 41) in hospital being tested for cancer and lupis. Had 4 transfusions Monday night. Having a colonoscopy Wednesday morning. Needs lots of prayer.
Drs have found a tumor on Melanie Foley's liver. She's only 38.

I wanted to share an urgent prayer request with you and the prayer team. After the service today at Washougal, Dan and I prayed with two women who asked for prayer for a young father who has terminal brain cancer; he is currently in hospice. He and his wife, Shawna, have 4 children. Renee and Deaun (the ones who requested prayer for him) were touched by John's comment about we serve a "God who is in the business of healing!" So the four of us prayed for healing. The man's name is William (Bill) Texidor.

My Prayer;

Lord Jesus, I thank you for everything you do... You are such an amazing God. Tonight I bring to You some requests for both myself and Aaron.

Father God I pray for Aaron's friend and co-worker Ethan. God we know You are a Jealous God and we know how much You love Ethan, and desire a relationship with him, the same way You do for everyone... But Jesus we pray that You would open Ethan's eyes to You and the things of creation that You have put before him. That You would use Aaron in His life to be a witness and a blessing. Aaron is such a blessing in my life and I know that he is going to do great things for Your kingdom. I pray for Joe , Aaron , Eric, John, and Ethan in "Dwell," Lord that You would use there musical talent as a witness to the Kingdom of God. They are all so precious to You.

Father I pray for myself and the Gresham Group that every time we gather that we would open ourselves for the things that You have for us. I know that You have great things that You want us to do and I pray that You would just continue this work in our lives. Help me Father, to be a better friend, brother, pastor and husband. I have so much yet to learn about You and I pray that you would just reveal Yourself to me in a mighty way... Please come use me at work to be a better witness for You and help me to have more patience with all of my managers and co-workers, Lord Jesus please shine through me. It's by Your blood that I come to You now, and I love You and I praise You. By Your holy name I pray, Amen.
