Hi Everyone,
Here are the prayer requests that have been gathered this far for the week.
First off is I have been hearing of a lot of sickness still going around... Pastor Chuck of the Gresham Vineyard who is a dear friend of mine is sick as well there are a few in that congregation that are. Please pray for healing.
A very good friend of mine, Joe Tweton is looking to God to help him with his Finances, and I'm finding myself in that same boat. That said, we are all praying in faith that God will provide just like he talks about in Matthew 6... "Lord God I pray that Your Divine order would be established and maintained in all of mine and Joe's financial affairs!" Jesus says in Matthew 9:29 "...according to your faith let it be to you." And we accept that in the Name of Jesus!
My good friend Matt Johnson has a job that he works a graveyard shift, he needs a better job that works more normal hours so it will be easier on his family.
Please be praying for me as I am really struggling at work. I know I have Gods favor in my life but just recently I feel that at work it is a different story. Pray that my eyes would be open to opportunity and that God would guide, govern, protect, and allow me to prosper at work.
"Let Your mercies come also to me, O Lord- Your salvation according to Your Word so shall I have an answer for him who reproaches me, for I trust in Your Word." Psalm 119:41-42
The last request came in today from Bruce H. at Living Hope Church:
We have a job ahead of us. It's time, once again, to pray for Easter. How, you ask? There are several things that come to mind. First, the big tent is coming today. Let's ask Papa to provide strength for those involved in putting it up. Also safety and wisdom. Also ask for the process to be orderly and peaceful. Then, after it's done, ask the Lord to fill the tent with His Glory!
We want the atmosphere of heaven to fill the tent. Begin to talk to Papa about who should come. There are many people who have an appointment with God under the big top. Most just don't know it yet. Our part in prayer is to ask God to get them there. And then, once they're there, for the Holy Spirit to draw them into the Kingdom.
Also, no less important, let's ask the Lord for an accident free Easter, shall we? Let's ask Him for an Easter series filled with the Joy of the Lord! Ask Him to protect the equipment. Let's even ask for great weather for the weekend. Finally, starting now, let's ask Holy Spirit to pour out His sweet Presence on the staff. We need Him now as we work on the process of getting everything ready. We know there is a very real enemy trying hard to wreck our attitudes or anything else he can influence.
Our part is to simply call heaven into the midst of everything we're doing.
Amen?
